a normal gal, living a quite nice life in this beautiful city
Istanbul, Turkey. Unfortunately not everybody in this country is as
lucky as me.

The
average income in Turkey is around $5,000 and no, that's not per
month, it's per YEAR! But the worse thing is the income
distribution; the richest part makes 25 times more than the poorest
part... That means there are many people living with less than the
average $416 per month, that is $14 a day!
It's
very hard for me to stay ignorant to this situation, so I had this
idea while I was thinking about what I could do. Even if I could
help just one person, it's definitely worth the effort...
There
is this campaign going on in Turkey for 2 years now, I'm trying to
contribute to it whenever I can. Well.. whenever I have money. But I
wanted to do more by getting more peoples' attention and change more
lives.
With
this campaign you can send a little girl to school for just 20 bucks
a month!These girls are mostly living on the eastern part of Turkey
and cannot go to school, because they have to work and/or they don't
even have a school in their village...
